We have puppies!

Bubba, my standard Aussie Therapy Dog and constant companion.

I can not imagine life without a canine companion. Growing up with dogs and horses we happened upon an Australian Shepherd pup at the Quarter Horse Congress in Ohio. She was our first "Aussie" and amazed us at the loyalty, willingness to please, and quick ability to learn. That was in 1996 and we have had multiple Aussies since. I then ran across the "mini" version and decided they were the perfect combination of the Aussie qualities but in a smaller compact size!

We have strived for quality in any animal we raise, from our Paints and Quarter Horses to our canine companions. My breeding philosophy is simple; start with quality parents, pass along desirable characteristics, strive to better the quality in the offspring and in the process better the breed. All adults are OFA (hips x-rayed) and CERF (Canine Eye Registration Foundation) cleared.

There is also a section called "Is this the right breed for you?" which asks many great questions about puppy and dog ownership. The section on finding a breeder also gives the buyer questions to ask "the breeder" when searching for a dog or puppy.

Latigo (pictured right) will be staying with us for the next year. She may be our new breeding female if her hip clearance is good. We will not be expecting any litters during this time. Please check back with us in the fall of 2008.
